Bandung can be accessed through 4 highways from Jakarta. An intercity toll highway, named as Cipularang toll road, connecting Jakarta,KarawangPurwakarta, Padalarang and Bandung, has recently been completed in May 2005. It is currently the fastest way to go to Bandung from the capital. Driving time is about 1.5 hours on average. There are 3 other options: the Puncak route, Purwakarta route and the Subang route. From eastern part of the cities, Bandung can be accessed through the main provincial road. The Pasupati bridge recently opened to the public, relieving traffic jams in the city for east-west transport. The 2.8 km cable-stayed bridge lies through the valley of Cikapundung. It is 30 to 60 metres wide and after extensive delays, its construction finally completed in June 2005, following financial investment from Kuwait. The bridge is part of Bandung’s comprehensive inner-city highways plan.

Taxis are widely available. The primary means of public transportation is by minibus, called angkot (from angkutan = transportation and kota = city). They serve certain routes throughout the city, operated privately and cheap, but these city shuttles are not usually known for being comfortable. To find exact angkot routes, information are available through the drivers or at terminals. City-owned buses, called DAMRI, operates on larger relatively long routes. Bandung has 2 intercity bus terminals: Leuwipanjang, serving buses from the west, and Cicaheum, serving buses from the east.

Bandung  Husein Sastranegara International Airport serves direct flight to BatamSurabayaYogyakartaDenpasarPalembang and Padang and also international services from Kuala Lumpur and Singapore Changi Airport. The airport is located nearby the Dirgantara aerospace complex and Dirgantara Fairground.

Bandung has two largest railway stations, i.e. Bandung and Kiaracondong Stations. Railway connects Bandung to CianjurJakartaPurwakartaBekasi,Karawang and Cikampek to the west, and SurabayaYogyakarta and Solo to the east. It is also the major means of transportation for people living in suburb areas of CimahiPadalarangRancaekekCicalengka and Cileunyi.

Visit Bandung (part 1)

God created Bandung when He smiled..

That’s what people said about the beauty of Bandung.  Bandung is the capital of West Java.  It takes only two to three hours driving from Jakarta to Bandung. Bandung has cooler temperatures year-around than most other Indonesian cities. The city lies in a river basin surrounded by volcanic mountains. This topography provides a good natural defense system, which was the primary reason for the Dutch East Indies government’s plan to move the colony capital from Batavia to Bandung.

Geological data shows that the Bandung Basin is located on an ancient volcano, known as Mount Sunda, erected up to 3,000–4,000 meters (9,850–13,100 ft) during the Pleistocene age. Two large-scale eruptions took place; the first formed the basin and the other (est. 55,000 Before Present) blocked the Citarum River, turning the basin into a lake known as “the Great Lake of Bandung”. The lake drained away; the reason for which is the subject of ongoing debate among geologists.

Bandung is one of tourism destination in Indonesia.  Either for its scenery, culture, historical, culinary and for shopping purposes.  It has mountains, lakes, waterfalls, forests, rivers and many other. The northern part of the city is hillier than the rest. There’s Tangkuban Parahu volcano with its beautiful crater. Cikole forest, and Ciater hot spring.  In the southern part of the city, there’s Patuha mount, with its Kawah Putih, tea plantation, hot springs, Situ Patenggang lake and Ranca Upas campground. And Bandung is also known for its Factory Outlets. People from other cities, often visit Bandung in weekends just for shopping at the Factory Outlets. One of the famous place for fashion shopping is Cihampelas street. Since  Bandung is also well known as Parijs van Java, the people, especially the women is very fashionable. That’s probably one of the reasons why there’s so many fashion store at Bandung.

For the historical tourism, there’s Dutch-built Gedung Sate, that is presently used as the symbol and the office of the government of West Java Province.  There’s also Merdeka building at Asia Afrika street, which was used for Asian-African Conference back in 1955.  Braga Street was also grown into a promenade street with cafes, restaurants and boutique shops which is still maintained until present. Two art-deco style hotels, Savoy Homann and Preanger, were built in the vicinity of the Concordia Society, a club house for the wealthy with a large ballroom and a theatre. That’s also one of the reasons why nickname “Parijs van Java” was given to the city.

The Best Beach in Venice Italy

October 6th, 2010 No comments

This beach is not equal is decides by the best beach standard in Sardinia, but they are lovable and in Italy’s north best beach.

In many will definitely lie in the sand and the swimming later assiduously studies in the sea. My family and I have caused our Venice Italy beach guide, and the characteristic beach is we in Veneto thought that is the best beach beach.

Rosolina beach.
This beach is 8 kilometers is long, with clean, happy sand. Because the beach size it very few crowds excessively except August and weekend in July. Is not only this Long Beach, but it is 100 meters widths. You will need to endure patiently the umbrella jurisdiction the line, but because the beach size it cannot withstand. Also has must do with provides the swimming pool and the tennis court most hotels plentifully. I will suggest will hire bicycle and exploration little. This is I likes circulating – good and the flat and smooth kind of place.

Albarella beach.
In a Venice Italy beach guide’s under beach is along from the Rosolina road. The beach is belonging to a natural conservation private island. The Albarella island is only about five kilometers long by two kilometers widths, and to have about 2,000,000 trees is famous. The name, Albarella, means Poplar tree. The island is private – stays in here only then the visitor permission, and this place is a heaven truly, if you have a child – my five year-old child to invest this achievement first beach.

Alberoni.
Alberoni is finally the Lido beach. Venice Lido has some beaches, but this is my affection. It is not magnificent any, moreover explicitly an enough pleasant beach and release. It looked not surprised looks like the umbrella landing area quite very much, therefore many and I are not frankly enters the deck chair jurisdiction in Italy’s north nearby beach the line and the umbrella. The beach is established in the natural conservation and as if is far away truly a world which Venice rushes about. A great idea, if you felt that energetic is hires the bicycle and the exploration island.

Creating Your Own Blogging Empire

October 1st, 2010 No comments

One of the goals of most marketers today is to create a consistent monthly income which requires little or no effort on their part. This was usually accomplished through residual income programs like mlm’s or network marketing programs.

Lately, these methods seem to have fallen out of favor because of the difficulty in recruiting and maintaining downlines.

With the popularity of Adsense and other PPC programs webmasters could now create an extra revenue stream simply by adding some code to their sites and getting visitors to click on the ads.

Some of these webmasters began pulling in large sums each and every month. Actually the amount of money they were earning was closing in on the salaries of some CEO’s of medium to large corporations.

The formula was very simple. They provided good content on basic templates and added the code. They then drove traffic to their sites. A click through ratio of only a few percent would net some good profits.

No more dealing with irate customers or queries about products…they just came and clicked.
One underused method of creating theses large income streams was the use of Blogs with high paying keywords. Some bidders were paying up to $80 for a single click.

Some savvy marketers started providing lists of high paying keywords for a substantial one time payment.
This allowed the little guy to use free Blogs and high paying keywords to create their own personal cash cows.
Since Blogs were easier to get listed on the SE’s than regular sites they were the vehicle of choice. They could also be listed in RSS Directories were people would subscribe to their feeds.

You could build a blog in a few minutes, list it in these directories and have traffic coming in droves ready to click on your adsense ads in no time.
What a boon!

It’s time for you to jump on this bandwagon. It’s the new gold rush and it’s easy to learn and do. The only downside is the need to update content frequently. But if you have let’s say, 50 Blogs, earning you an average of $5 per day each, do the math, I think it’s worth the effort.
